Why did I become a Real Estate Professional?
22 years in the Health Care Industry and a 5 year stop in Airline Service Management dominated my early career. Having sold my own home, I found that I really enjoyed the process. I decided to make the change to Real Estate, where I could continue serving people in an industry I was passionate about.
How long have I been in Real Estate?
I began my Real Estate career in 2008 (Passed the exam on April Fools Day), when the Real Estate Market was deeply depressed. Entering this new field in a difficult time taught me how to work hard, and appreciate the knowledge and support I receive from my Company, Pete Anderson Realty Assoc., Inc.
Where do I do most of my business?
I live in Happy Valley, but was raised in Southwest Portland (Garden Home). That being said, I have sold homes from Gresham to Sherwood, Molalla, Beavercreek, Milwaukie, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, and of course, all over Portland.
What’s something people are surprised to learn about me?
Fishing is my favorite pastime.
I enjoyed living for 7 years in my floating home on the Beautiful Columbia River.
I competed internationally with a Dragon Boat Team.
Having experienced breast cancer in 2015-2016, I now host a monthly support group at our Eastside Portland Office of Pete Anderson Realty.
